Stamp challenge

Challenge 8  To use our stamps! I'm very guilty of buying stamps and only using them once or twice so I enjoyed this one a lot. I kept the layout quite minimal with lots of white space which is also a challenge in itself for me! I don't often do white space....

Brooklyn Bridge

Challenge 9 Take your pick is a nice easy one! I chose a sketch to work from for some picces we took last summer on our brilliant family trip to New York.

Here's the sketch...

And here's my take on it....

Something Bold

Challenge 10 is 'So here’s a challenge for those of you who like something a bit more prescriptive: scrapbook two photos on a bold background!'

I don't but bold papers...they are just not 'me', however after a good old rummage I found a nice bold print on some paper I received in a swap a long time ago...I knew it would come in handy one day!!

Free journaling cards

Check them out here!
These are super cute too!

Colour adventure

Challenge four - Scrap with grey, yellow and another colour of your choice!

I have just had a new kit from scrapagogo which was perfect for this challenge. The photo's I chose are of my daughter Beth and neice Caitie spending a bit of time together outside on Good Friday, even though there are 10 years between them they always manage to have fun together.

Mixing styles

Challenge three is mixing styles...mix your look with a style you haven't tried. Well I've had some spray ink for a while and not used it yet so thought this would be a good starting point!  I used to some stars as a mask on the page...here it is

Online crop

This weekend www.shimelle.com is hosting an online crop, with classes and competitions that can be completed without leaving the house! That's my kind of crop!

I've done a bit of scrapping recently but not much so this seemed like the perfect way to kick start the process again.

I haven't  finished challenge one yet but will do before the week is out. I did finish challenge two though which is here   and is to mix three paper collections on the same layout...perfect for stash busting and I always have scraps lying around my desk so this what I came up with...
