Quick scrapping!

These were the photo's we took on Friday and I have scrapped them already....highly unusual for me!
The LO is based on sketch 245 at pencil lines

that's Dan, Beth and Ethan, and they will be tomorrow since we are all getting together for a weekend away to celebrate dad's 70th birthday. Hoping to take a fresh batch of photo's to start scrapping nexy week too!

This LO was based on sketch 243 at pencil lines and I'm still using up old scrapagogo stash for the use it up challenge!

Modern Day Princess

Just thought I'd post this LO I did for sketch 242 at Pencil lines of my super cute neice in her snow white dress brandishing a light sabre...she doesn't need a handsome prince to rescue her...she can take care of herself!!! All supplies used from various scrapagogo kits.

Well, I've been doing a bit more digi scrappin' and I think it's sinking in now enough that I'm managing some simple layouts without having to flip back and forth between tutorials now - woohoo!

Pencil lines have a great sketch right now and a template to work from in digi so I've created this layout using that template....

Well, the school summer break is here...and yeah, you guessed it, its raining! To be fair though it hasn't rained all week, so we have been strawberry picking and out to Mount Edgecumbe country park and also been to the cinema (Toy Story 3) and out for lunch, so we've had a nice time so far all the same.

I took the opportunity to sneak off to the craft room for a couple of hours today though and had a go at the sketch over at Pencil lines right now (197), here's what I came up with.....

Poor neglected blog

I can't believe it's so long since I last came near this blog. We've had a really nice Easter break with lots of days out and then it was back to work last week, with me not even going into the craft room for two weeks!
Well I did have a couple of hours in there over the weekend, and did this layout to tie in with challenge 183 at Pencil Lines

This next one loosely fits the sketch for challenge 101 at Creative scrappers

Bliss

Hiya, after going for a swim this morning I've had a nice lazy day at home catching up with some scrappy challenges and having some time relaxing with the rest of the family...bliss!

I have thrown myself into scrapping lots of our last holiday photo's and must say I'm having a great time remembering some of the lovely times we had. Like this one here.......

It's loosely baesd on the sketch 178 at Pencil lines this week. I've had this leftover paper from cosmo cricket for a while and decided it was high time I used it up! Thanks for looking x

No time to chat...am supposed to be packing for a weekend visiting my sis!

Woohoo...summer break!

Well, I'm finally on holiday for the summer break.....a full six weeks! After a visit to the local art shop this morning to get acrylic paints and A3 pads and canvases for Dan and Beth, I have spent quite a lot of today scrapping (mainly last summer's photo's).

Weather permitting tomorrow, we are going crabbing, and then over the weekend we are going surfing/boogie boarding.

Anyway, this weeks challenge at pencil lines was really good, so here's my take on their sketch...

It's me and my gorgeous lil' nephew. He is NEVER still, so to get this photo of him being still was so great...it was on the tree top walk at Kew gardens last summer.
I'm really enjoying stitching on layouts at the moment, and find the bazzill stitching templates a really great guide.

It's a great way to use up tiny scraps!

I've had a pretty tiring day, but still managed a bit of scrapping, so I'm a happy bunny!

Dan started his 'challenge week' at school and is learning to scuba dive...he enjoyed his first day today, and is looking forwards to the rest of the course.

Pencil lines 142

Here's my take on this weeks sketch over at pencil lines.

I've used a bit more of my scrapagogo kit....I was really pleased when it arrived because I knew I had some great photos to match in with the colour scheme.

I'm looking forward to the next kit already.
