Bluebells

On Saturday we had a treat and had breakfast out then went for a walk between Sheepstor and Meavy and came across the biggest and most beautiful bluebell wood I've ever seen, it was just gorgeous.

Random!

I've managed to get 3 more layouts completed in the past couple of day from random photo's during 2007 that I never got around to doing at the time. I'm aiming to 'catch up' and maybe even start scrapping last years piccies soon!

The first is Tavistock balloon fiesta, the second is ice skating at the Windsor outdoor ice rink that is there every Christmas and the last one is Beth aka Boo in her Halloween costume, looking just a little bit too glam to be remotely scary!

Long Time no blog....AGAIN!

I am so rubbish at this blogging lark! Life just seems to take over and before I know it a week or 9 has gone!



We have now booked our holiday for October.....we are going back to Florida WOOHOO...little happy dance etc! I'm already getting giddy and it's ages away! So, to keep me going I've set myself a challenge of finally scrapbooking my favourites of the photo's we took the last time we went...2006. I know I should have done these a long time ago, but, it just never happened for one reason or another, so last week I ordered some new goodies and this weekend I set to work on starting the album. Here are the layouts I've done so far......

Recent challenges...Just Bex

There are lots of challenges going on at Just Bex right now and I decided it was high time I took part and made an effort!

This one is for Feb challenge 6...'keeping it the same'.

Next is Feb challenge 5 ' a krafty one'.

Then we have Feb challenge 1 'Pink and green'.

And finally for now March challenge 1 'Gems'

I've really enjoyed taking part in these challenges again after not doing any at all for a while, and I'm defo gonna try to do more in the near future...thanks for the inspiration girls!

Long time....No Post!

I think I may be the world's worst blogger! I just forget to update for months at a time! No excuses really just work, family and generally busy!

We had lots of snow this week...on Tuesday and today and the schools have been closed, which has meant we could really enjoy the weather...we don't get much snow here usually, so to get lots is fab!

Just wanted to post a piccie or two.....

Challenges.....

Over at Just Bex there are some cool challenges to take part in. I've done 2 cards, 1 for the 'white stuff' challenge (to make a card with plenty of white space) and the other to use paper piecing. I'm pleased with the ladybird one, it was only a case of punching circles!...nice and easy!

First layout since June!

Finally! I've done a scrapbook layout...my first one since June!


I've been so busy and to be honest have had very few ideas for any of the vast amount of photos I would like to scrap, but the mood took me today and I had a tiny bit of spare time, and this is the end result!

I've used 'my minds eye' papers and bazzill flowers. I think the title is from K& Co.

Now that I've done one layout I'm hoping to get the 'bug' again and do a few more!
